April has a unique history dedicating more than 17 years of her life serving students and community members in higher education, April realized her true passion was providing hope, being a listening ear, championing social justice, and connecting clients to critical resources.
April excels at assisting the individuals she works with to learn new, healthy coping skills to manage, anxiety and depression. She is a personal advocate for personal empowerment and finding inner peace. April believes that we are are able to heal only after we allow ourselves to open up our emotions and expose and express our feelings often deep-rooted in our history. She provides a safe, compassionate environment to begin your journey to a healthier you.
