Mandalay (Mandy) Parkman

Mandy is a Rockford native and has been married to her husband for two years. She and her husband are parents to their two boxer dogs, one feisty orange tabby cat, and a bearded dragon.
Mandy is a co-host with her sister and cousin on their podcast, Reading the Newberys: A Team Friendship Podcast, where they read and discuss Newbery Medal-winning children’s books.
She loves going to local bookstores to pick up a new book-- her home library is her pride and joy!
Her hobbies include reading, baking, and cheering on her St. Louis Cardinals during baseball season. Mandy has completed her first year of college on the path to obtaining her BS in Communication and is looking forward to completing that degree in a few years.
