Linsay believes that "As a therapist, I believe in meeting clients where they are and assisting them in shaping the direction of their future. By examining their past experiences and interactions we can assess together what patterns may be in place and work to disrupt the negative ones while building upon the positive patterns in order to influence the future. My experience and expertise includes working with clients struggling with many present day issues including Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Trauma, and Family/Parenting challenges. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages including children and teens. My skills also encompass offering guidance and strategies towards overcoming parenting stress and family obstacles.
In addition- I enjoy working with clients on ways they can enhance their self-care practices and empower themselves to proactively move towards making more positive decisions for their lives. I have a non-judgmental approach and believe the therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and change. I pride myself on my flexible and eclectic approach to meet and fit the individual's personal needs. My goals are to assist my clients in fostering positive transitions to meet their personal goals by fostering hope, resiliency and happiness in that individual."
