Brooke Acosta

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor [LCPC]

Brooke began her career supporting adolescents in an inpatient substance use treatment facility, where she quickly discovered a deep passion for helping others. This led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Quincy University. Over the past decade, she has gained diverse experience across a range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, private practice, and correctional facilities.

Brooke is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She values authenticity and transparency, and believes that trust and genuine connection are the foundation of effective therapy. Her approach is grounded in the belief that change is always possible, and she is honored to walk alongside her clients as they work toward growth and healing.

She works with adult individuals and couples navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma, and women’s issues.

Outside of her practice, Brooke lives in Rockford with her husband and three stepsons. She enjoys traveling, spending time in the pottery studio, and is passionate about lifelong learning. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree with the goal of teaching and mentoring future counselors.
