Licensed Clinical Profession Counselor [LCPC], Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor [CADC]

Amanda has been in the human services field since 2012, working in both the Northern and Southern Illinois Regions.  Amanda seeks to empower individuals to make the best life choices during times of struggle.  Amanda enjoys inspiring others to achieve their desired goals.  She does this through a down to earth and positive oriented approach using empathy, humor and solution focused ideas.  Amanda desires to create a team atmosphere where she and her client solve issues together.



  • 2016-2017 Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor for Gateway Foundation.  Conducted group, individual, and family sessions.  Utilized experiential therapy, mindfulness, and meditation.

  • 2012-2016 Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor for Rosecrance Health Network.  Conducted group and individual counseling sessions.  Utilized therapeutic theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoeducation.

Amanda has 2 cats (Lou and Petey) and spends her free time reading, painting and watching scary movies.  Amanda is also an avid vegetarian and student of kickboxing, boxing and muay thai.
